We were in the area and had a sushi craving. This place is very inviting. Nice decor and music, and the service were very friendly. We both had the lunchtime box which was very nice. The teriyaki and sashimi nigiri combo box was a lot of food, very tasty, and a good presentation. It's fun that they also include two daily sides, in addition to the salad, miso, and salad.
I'm not sure if I can call this a hidden gem just because we just heard about it, but this has instantly become our go to spot for sushi. Amazing service, food was delicious, and very reasonably priced. Even basic items such as the green salad was perfect. Highly recommended!
I liked this place. If I lived in the neighborhood, I could see this place being my go-to sushi spot. The service was nice and prompt. The food quality was good. Menu is the standard Japanese food you find at most places.
Love love love this place. Such good food! I love the BC Roll best. Their special roles are really tasty. And the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The location is amazing as well - right on 4th
Avenue. It's within easy walking distance to Kits beach. What could be better!
Ordered gyoza, edamame, chicken teriyaki roll, avocado and cucumber roll, and chicken karaage. Everything was fantastic. Got it to go and took about 30 mins or a bit more, but the wait was worth it. I just walked down to the Kitsilano Wine Cellar to kill some time and buy some wine to compliment dinner. Can't wait to come back and try agaib soon.
We have been here a few times now and their food is amazing! We have a few favorites like the Yummy Yummy roll, wild salmon sashimi and the Ebi Oshi!
We branch out every once and a while and it is usually delicious as well! The staff is always friendly and attentive.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Sushi nova is one of the best Sushi places in Vancouver.
We have tried almost all the menu and we were never disappointed by any kind of sushi tried there. Every time it was fresh, good quantity, nicely packaged and on time for pick up. Definitely recommend the popcorn roll, rainbow and caterpillar. Seaweed is also fresh and good quality.
Super good. Full of flavour and perfectly fresh. Most things on the menu have good prices and portions. Some of the special rolls etc should have a lower price but ultimately I consider this a 5 star restaurant. Also service and decor is spot on. Expect to be refreshed and reborn in heaven.
